Your hanging basket support is super, clever Hubby. Love the blackbird. And your plants in the baskets, show off the design, happy planting.

Your hanging baskets are true perfection. They are full of beautiful, colourful plants. I also like what you did with them in the autumn.
But, your urn on the pedestal is absolutely stunning and looks wonderful.
These photos show just how thrilled you were to be able to do your hanging baskets again!!

have you been trading cows for magic beans again? :o))
On question - Please can anyone ID this plant?
is it a self sown Teucrium? that has a similar crinkly leaf.

Darn, was hoping you had somethng minty. I'm always grabbing some for this and for that - air freshener too.
On question - Please can anyone ID this plant?
Spritz says it doesn't smell...pity cos it does look minty!

All I can think of is spearmint. This looks exactly like spearmint - or something minty. Break off a leaf and smell it. Minty? Don't wait for mint to flower - then it goes downhill. Instead try making mint lemonade like I do. It's a delicious and refreshing summer drink, or iced tea. That's if this is in fact mint. Mint is also a natural bug repellent and for vermin. It will keep away mosquito,

what are the stems like round/square, smooth / hairy? has it appeared or was it planted and the label lost? How tall is it and how big are the leaves Spritz? Not honesty though.
On question - Please can anyone ID this plant?
Looks like my honesty plants before they sprout a flower stem....

its not borage. I was thinking perhaps one of the Verbascum hybrids or one of the Campanulas, reminds me a bit of Canterbury bells.
and I echo what Stera says, lovely to see you back.

Don't know, but its great to see you back - often wondered what you're up to these days.
On question - Please can anyone ID this plant?
Could it be Borage?

Hi everyone. I realise this is an old post but has anyone got an answer? My viburnum Tinus hedge has several plants with dieback and I can see it spreading despite cutting out the affected branches, sterilising my pruning equipment between each cut and keeping the hedge fertilised and watered.
On question - Viburnum tinus dieback
Great colour Spritz, would also like to know the variety.
On photo - Purple dwarf Hebe.
I used to have this under the beech tree for many years.
but I lost it in the harsh winters of 10/11 and 11/12
On photo - Begonia x sutherlandii
tis upside down for me too.
but isn't it a glorious plant. is this fully hardy or will you need to protect it?
On photo - Begonia metallica
has it produced seed Spritz? if it is a pure species it should do and as you know it will come true.
On photo - Campanula primulifolia
this looks lovely. how tall is it?
On photo - Phlox maculata

Such lovely colour at this time of year.
I admired some at a garden centre today, pretty shades of purple and one with variegated leaves which was also nice.

Hi Spritz, did you get my pm at the end of Sept? I have been having problems with the computer !
On blog - Oh no - not another Triffid!
Beautiful flowers, Spritz!

Oh that's a shame. I only use my computer - bigger screen for my eyes and bigger key pad for my clumsy fingers :)

beautiful Spritz and such thoughtful planting. Hubby's with transferable skills are worth the weight in gold. Must show this to mine. Though to be fair I do have brackets on the wall I just haven't done anything with them for a few years now. I will come the autumn. You have re inspired me.
