That's a nice delicate looking one. is it new to you?

Mine didn't come through its first winter :o(

That's lovely Spritz.
did you see the large sedums have had a name change due to genetic discoveries.

Flippin' eck, now I've got to google your pink caryopteris, never seen a pink one and yes ....want one:-) Your garden always looks wonderful Barbara, but you'll have to go on bread and water after being so profligate! I do like my carradonnas, but they don't flower for as long as my cerra potosi, think I've got that right. Also love your anenome, not seen that colour before either. Want one:-))

Lovely combination of plants, Spitz!

and who wouldn`t admire it with all those beautiful plants, it may have cost a fortune but me thinks it well worth while.

I agree Siris, as it’s not so tall and much bushier.

Gosh, such an intense colour.

I think this is nicer that Verbena bonariensis, airier.

My favourite for colour.

Love the dark leaved varieties ...

Ah, now this is the delicate and tiny flowered plant I saw in a garden centre recently. May just return and buy it!

Lovely one 🙂

Lovely to see your "new" bed planted up! It will look fabulous next year when al the plants have really settled in & flower once again! :)

That’s lovely Spritz. Yes, Verbena Bampton was new to me last year and has now given me several seedlings ... great plant 🙂

Lovely project Barbara with very pleasing results. Spending many months at home ourselves, I think we have done similar projects ...... AND actually got control of our garden .... at long last. Getting ivy off fences and digging out the roots was one of the most satisfying.

'Bampton' likes my garden for some reason. I keep finding seedlings. Bought one plant 3 years ago. I like the combination in your plot.

Beautifully flamboyant Spritz, it looks like one of the Southern Belles...

Is that a Verbena Bampton hasta? nice airy plant.

Love the smell of these.

I had two of these, in pots, but both died ... no idea why! I shall admire yours from afar ... :o)

My favourites have to be the Phlox and red Japanese Anenome, I've never seen a red before Spritz..That was some spending spree but you bought some lovely plants, I'm sure it won't be long before those spaces fill up again......

That's a grand selection of new plants, and has started me off wanting a Caryopteris (got to be a blue one). The border looks great.

Just beautiful, your collection of plants! Love the aster, the colour is so vivid and attractive.

I saw this 2 days ago at the GC. I was very tempted, but no room! I'll be interested to see how it goes.

lovely planting Barbara, I also love 'Caradonna' but in the last 3 yrs or so I have lost it. definitely one to replace. Shame about 'Ballerina', I remember it giving a good show. I wish my 'the pearl' was a little more thuggish, it is holding its own but not really taking off.
I love 'Monch' but it never returns for me unlike some of my other asters.

my front border will need to be thinned out this coming spring as it has got too big for its own good. That will be another planting opportunity to. I have a pale bicolour Phlox too, not as tall as P panniculata but a good plant none the less.
