What an attractive addition to your garden Spritz and I take my hat off to you for working so hard despite ill health. A gent like your husband would be much appreciated in my household too, it must be wonderful to share projects like this even if you disagree over some others. My youngsters admire anything I do but are not interested in actually working in the garden, and our dogs love being out there but usually leave it looking the worse for wear ;-) I hope you continue to enjoy better health and are able to spend more quality time in your garden and here too.

Love this. A friend gave me one a month ago and I’ve already been able to take three cuttings 🙂.

We have just bought two to give our garden more colour at this time of year. Yours is a lovely shade of blue.

Mine did too but is late to start flowering. I'm looking for sideshoots to take cuttings, but without success so far

Looks like your hanging baskets are in the ideal place to be viewed from your house, and that area draws the eye. Much better than that area when grassed. Excellent. All you need now is a blue pot with a Phormium in it!!!

Oh that is literally a pain. hope you are feeling better.
I wondered if I'd given you some of mine but clearly not. it is a good semi shade plant. and flowers for a long time, though the leaves can look a bit sad by the beginning of flowering. it is fully herbaceous for me. I've had mine for years. a nice gentle spreader.

it reminds me of Symphandra x iran but that is more herbaceous but it does leave quite twiggy stems over winter.

Maybe Philadelphus Aurea? But I’m not sure. Good to see you Spritz!

Hi Spritzhenry. Can you tell me how your viburnum fared after cutting out the dead bits? My 17 year old viburnum is experiencing the same. I know it's been a decade since you posted. Hopefully, you'll have good news! :D
