A cat in the garden? Whatever will Henry make of that?

Please don't blush Spritz or I shall start to feel all hot and red about my shed and our garage...

He would indeed......

I'm sure she would .... if you were a touch closer, lol

Do you think she'd like to have a go at our garage...

I found a Maggie to help tidy my shed this week, that meant 2 more trips to the dump, but it is so nice to have one area looking neat.

Because we only have a small garden we have to keep it neat and tidy, no room to store odds and sods, everything is on show, wbich is very difficult at times, hence three small sheds!! pleased you have found a Dennis to sort things out...

We could all do with one.....I agree.

What a great sense of relief you must be feeling - a real weight off your mind as well as nice spaces you can actually use now! Good on yer, Dennis...

Sometimes a helping hand makes such a big difference in a short amount of time. You will enjoy this part of the garden far more now.
Where is he going next?!

that is a job well done. I wonder if Dennis does spare rooms too?

That tidy area will spur you on to keep it so, I know my shed is staying neat and I'm pleasantly surprised by it.

£10.00 = $13.23 US. That's piece of cake. I'll throw in a Yankee game.

:)

On blog - Sad and happy.

wow, send Dennis to me.

Wow that is a really good price, the local handy man here charges £25 an hour. Wouldn't mind paying more then £10 but can't really justify £25.

How much did you pay him ? The rate round here is £15
an hour. I employed one to dig out Brambles on my old allotment. I showed him the area I had already cleared. He kept coming down the path to show me a Bramble root he had dug up. When I went back to check he had dug the area I had told him not to. I didnt expect to have to stand over him while he worked. I didnt employ him again, £30 and I would sooner have done the work myself. So it just depends if you find a conscientious worker who will do as he is told.

I'm so pleased to see I'm not the only one with an out of control area! To be honest I am quite embarrassed about it.
If only I had a Dennis to get things back under control - I'll put 'Dennis' on my wish list.

What a handsome & mischievous pup you have, he will help you through the sadness of losing a dear friend. Henry will always have his special place in your heart & maybe one day you'll feel Widget can be your avatar.
I said I wouldn't have another dog after my Zak but 4 years on & Ruby came to live with us. Neither of us can imagine being without her now.
Widget is a great name & I'd love to know how he came by it.

Your pedestal & pot idea look great, a real focal point. I love reclamation yards, we have one which often has those big tall chimneys with the fancy rik-rak tops but they are sooo expensive.
I was wondering if the pot will be deep enough for 2 clems?

On blog - One of my visions!

Well done to your friend for getting Dennis to tidy that area for you ... you must be feeling happy to see it cleared.

What a find he is! that must be such a weight off your shoulders. Brilliant.

Haha Paul. He's more of a wizard. ?

I can see Dennis is certainly not a menace!! A good job done!

He has done a wonderful job out there.
This is such a lovely blog.

It has already been said, but a Dennis, is what we all need to tidy up behind us.

That is wonderful......we all need a Dennis now and again. :o)

I know so many folk who could do with a Dennis, well done Spritz ?

Wow what a difference. I could really do with a Dennis here!!!!! Previous owners had left 3 black sacks of old plant pots chucked into the hedge behind green house and the 2 sheds where still full of all those things that "might come in handy one day". Like you I have not got around to sort it out yet other then clearing the pots and sheds but there are nettles and thistles everywhere. The thought of doing it getting worse each time I go around there. Your work area looks now a joy to work in. :-). Jen

I love the red flowers could you please tell me what they are called.

On photo - My big blue pot.

Aw, thats really sad news. Henry was a big part of GoY. He was such a handsome boy. I can imagine how difficult those times were Barbara. Im so glad you have found some healing with Widget. What a lovely puppy!
