We accept belated, thanks! :-)) H. was totally unaware of his b'day of course! LOL.
On blog - Meant to be?
OK, OK. But I am putting off going out at all today - it's pouring! It was all very well needing rain for the garden, but why can't it rain in the night and let me take H. out without us both coming back soaking wet?
Moan, moan.......

Oh no - I remember them! They are grown up with children of their own, now - two of them are teenagers, as well! If H. gets grumpy, I shall remove myself and hide! LOL.

We are all hoping that last winter was a one-off, Janette. It doesn't normally get toooooo cold! Thank goodness!
On photo - Dahlia 'Donald Ward'
I read that in my magazine...no, I was going to leave the Dahlias in, Janette - I honestly can't cope with lifting etc. There's so many other things I still haven't done in the garden! I feel as if I'm running to catch up! So - it'll be the easy way, buying another one next spring, I'm afraid.
Thanks for the info, though!

LOL. I'm following you, Docbob! It doesn't feel like 5 years ago.

Thanks, Mp and Docbob. I'll go and see what the question was!
On blog - Meant to be?
Our groups are talking about that, as well. What difference does it make, Pip??
I might do a blog later on, David. Anyway - you can do it yourself! It's only very new gardeners who need help, isn't it??
On blog - To cheer me up on a miserable day!
NO flowers? What a shame! I have three plants and they all flowered last year - their first year in. I wonder why?
On photo - Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolat...
No, I think you didn't see the best of it. When the roses and clematis are out - it's amazing!
I should try to go to Marwood Hill - not THAT far, I suppose! Where's Geoff's garden?
On photo - Autumn colours at Rosemoor
I 'tripped' over it - but I had to have it - so pretty! It's a bit hit and miss with NZ and Australian plants, sadly.
On photo - Australian Fuchsia
I don't know that one?? - I had S. uliginosa (sp) but that hasn't appeared this year. I suppose it was a casualty of last winter. :-((
I have a good Salvia book - I shall check your 'ex' Salvia out, Wagger!
On photo - Salvia microphylla
LOL.....that's really funny, Dd!
My goodness - I'm impressed! I USED to be organised and keep a log of everything I did and planted - I really must start again!
On photo - Dahlia 'Donald Ward'
Yeeeessss Sir! I know that really - but I forget when I have to get me ready with H. dancing round me all excited!
On photo - Salvia nemorosa
LOL. Welcome to the stars! They're still flowering. Not bad, are they??
On photo - A million stars!
Not easy to get all the things I need done outside now - the weather is stopping me getting on! Then it's dark....Moan, moan. :-((
On photo - Double Anemone x hybrida.
Ooops - yes, Dd - I do like it! Nerines aren't usually lifted, Dd. They should be hardy.
