????I can sing a rainbow too ?.......

lovely Spritz, nice to see you xxx

Like the indigo, good choice.

I really like your rainbow shot and all your colours and flowers a lovely start to Monday morning - thankyou - I am decorating today and your blog has given me a boost - I shall probably grab a couple of hours in the garden after lunch - Jane

Lovely blog..and it sure did put a smile on my face this frosty morning.the sun is just coming up and our light frost will soon be gone. All day in my garden today ..bliss...

I also know about lawnmowers and OH's. I couldnt understand why my Rosa canary bird kept having breakages and wasnt doing too well, until I caught the culprit reversing into it with the mower, obviously a regular occurrence.

oh course but I've only seen it in the summer. the colour is glorious.

he who must be ignored doesn't like it and now he is retired he does go round 'tidying' up plants especially if they have flopped over the grass. usually with the lawnmower :o(

oh if its not hardy for you I'll have no chance!

I remember you planting this up. isn't it stunning.

this is 'lush'. must look out for this one.

beautiful. I cant visualise which bit of the garden this is in?

I'm not allowed one :o(

I shall admire yours on here.

this looks great spritz. lets hope for a good winter and your flood defences live up to their name like last year.

is it solidago?

And so have ours

Beautiful colour.

Lovely little stream for the wildlife.

And so have ours......

Usually? does it cause problems sometimes, flooding?

Anything with water if good.

It must be lovely to see it during each season. Looking lovely at the moment.

Stunning colours.....

Must be lovely to have your own natural stream..

It look great Spritz.

It looks very naturalistic spritz

Can you say, what the white flowered plant is, too distant to enlarge. Can't be an Astilbe? And presume the reddy one behind is a shrub.

Oh dear! I am sorry to have to take issue with you but this is NOT a Trug! It's a bucket on wheels - nothing more. A "trug" is a wooden garden basket hand made and usually in Sussex when it was invented. Its a traditional garden basket and it's made either in the traditional way using sweet chestnut and willow woods or in the more contemporary way using Birch ply. How do I know this? Well Smith's Trugs are the original makers of the World famous Sussex Trug and I have owned the company for many years keeping it going when importers have brought in cheap Chinese knock-offs and everyone calls any old wooden tray they dug up in a car boot fair a "trug". Genuine Sussex Trugs come from Sussex and are freely available on the websites of the few remaining Trug Makers in the county. Hope you don't mind my try at setting the record straight?

Nice. The colour is similar to my Helenium 'Sahin's Early

We have lots of common ash around so I've never been tempted to have an ornamental until now!

Beautiful autumn colour.
