So this is what we will be doing……..all new and just waiting to be read,

Hubby bought me this one, as you may know we are doing a jungle garden this year, so this was a must.

We are now growing more succulents, sister-in- law came up with these.

Eldest daughter bought this very interesting one for hubby.

Youngest daughter bought him this…….

And another one from the in-laws.
We shall sit by the fire and be as snug as bugs in rugs ,and peas in pods.

I've found the Will Giles book very useful, especially if read in conjunction with 'Exotic Planting for Adventurous Gardeners' by Christopher Lloyd

Andrew agree we have C.Ls. book on exotic planting , so nothing to stop us now.....only the climate?
Joanella having something to look at does help when trying to design a jungle....
Lincs YDD thanks we were very pleased with our families collection, and we both love books.
AmbleA, Mavis it is still cold here + the rain so we have to do something, so planning is the answer.
Sandra sounds like you have big plans too? Sandra and Hywel thanks also for your comments.
Janey will let you know about Monty Dons, it did have a an excellent write up.
TT and BB you can never know everything about gardening there is always something new to learn, which is why we love it.
Spritz it is the next best thing to be doing, when conditions are like this....
Amy and Wagger that would be awful to sleep through the spring, dont you worry as soon as the sun shines we will be out there, work to do, new wellies to break in.

Hi Sanbaz, I take them to bed with me now, how sad is that? (some people would say) could do with being your age, some of the plants will have to handed down to our grandchildren, because they will take many years to reach maturity. lol
