About me

We moved here exactly 15yrs ago this month , it was a very hot summer , we had moved from an acre of garden to a half acre , all the plants we bought with us had to come in pots , the whole of the area was grass ,the pots had to stand there untill we had dug out areas for them to go in , with no real plan the garden has gradually evolved into something really pretty and something for all seasons .
We also have a vegetable gareden,I love having fresh veg.
We have a ditch along one side with some mature old oak ,ash ,maple ,tiny plum things almost like a cherry ,one of those has died as has a walnut tree which I was very fond of ,it had loads of walnuts when we first came , I was a bit worried about honey fungus but other plants and trees seem o.k hopefully it,s not that .
We should be retired ,but my husband still does odd days for a large company when required ,
