About me

Hi, I`m Sandra and I would rather spend all day in the garden than anything else. My garden is what I call my living project as I change it around all the time. This year I`ve put in a raised bed to see how I get on with growing veggies. I work at a garden centre which is the most perfect job I could wish for. There`s nothing better than being surrounded by plants all day. I`ve been making my own compost for the last three years and have really noticed the difference. My dahlias do especially well now. I try not to use to many chemicals but will do so if necessary. Organic I`m not but I try to do my bit for wildlife. I`m 57 and the more keen I became gardening-wise the more my joints creak. Mind you it would take more than that to keep me out of the garden!
