IVE HEARD THAT IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY CUT IT RIGHT BACK TO BASE THEN (BELIEVE IT OR NOT ,ACTUALLY BURN IT WITH A BLOW TORCH TIL CHARRED AND BLACK ,THAT THIS ACTUALLY STIMULATES GROWTH) NEVER TRIED IT THOUGH SO DONT TAKE MY WORD .

I need to let member Patrick and his wife know about this, I'm sure they use an Apple Mac and have had probs.
Thanx.

Having worked in IT for too long now and been dealing with Microsoft from day 1, the challenge with a Mac's is they are intuitive where is Microsoft isn't. So I think anyone who has used MS for a long period of time gets used to the quirky nature and 'finds away around' - Mac's just do what they say on the tin .. My next PC is a Mac.

:) I think it looks good as i is Sprizthenry

Hi Spritz. Peter and I use Apple Macs to build GoY :) First page of Google is all well and good... but lets try and be top of the first page :)

Spritz I would exchange my snow for yours anytime. These are beautiful. Mike C

Apple Macs are so confusing. Last summer on a visit at a friends home I sat at his Apple Mac to email home and was totally lost. Yet, people who have them think that they are the greatest. Mike

I have a spirea in the wrong place but can't get the roots out. Every Spring I chop it down to ground level, and every year it re-shoots and flowers with a vengeance.

I'm going to be right up there with Kew if you keep finding me like this spritz :-)

good for you Spritz, looking good! and yes defo a good excuse for more shopping - don't you just love it! - i know i do lol. i have been having a little go out there today with brooke, trying to plant some veggie seeds - i say trying because every time we planted some i turned around and she was digging them back up lol oh well never mind all part of the fun, we both had a wonderful time and came back in covered in mud - proberly too early for the veggi seed anyway! lol

Yes, Maple, hardly surprising. Our garden centres seem to be filled with phormium "Maori Queen" just now, Spritz. Reading about your hard work inspired me to really get down to clearing and topdressing my beds this afternoon. Many thanks for spurring me into heavy action!

Hi Spritz... I love the way the new trellis looks on the stone wall. Happy plant hunting :)

Gosh Spritz you have been working hard.I have just join this site and yours is the first blog I read. Looking forward to reading more about your garden.

Lovely Phormium. One of my favourite plants

Poor little Spirea! He needs a hat ;o)

Looking good Spritz. Shame about having to do ANOTHER plant hunt lol The Phormium is a beauty (no surprise there says David!) and the other plants look to be real show stoppers. Will look forward to seeing this bed develop

Good idea Andrew, if you can handle one ! :O)

This is the first time that I have ever seen this flower. This is very special. Mike C

VERY VERY nice. The erigeron looks like it spilled out of the pot. I love the brick and stone work.
