just a very good well fertalised top soil like a grow back will do the job to.

definatly and put it outside perhaps.the trunk for want of a better word is made up of the old leaves.unlike a lot of trees and shrubs which you can cut back as the whole thing is alive.the only real living thing is the top.there are a phew roots but they are basicly just to hold it up.this years leaves become next years dead trunk.it is like this to compete for light under a canapy hence liking shade.you cant cut the top back at all as you realy are cutting its head of like cutting a mammals head of.

you did fine .its not easy out of that tube but you can buy it better than that ive found out.i tried mixing them to but they seam to want to stay the same colour.very strange.glad you didnt mind me using your one.the black outline is a completly different kind of paint thats why it doesnt mix.glad you didnt mind .id be happy to do you something if you want.though you seam more than capeable. yes i did bye the liquid outline.i nearly baught the lead and will next time or if i do it for someone else.i didnt realy know what i was buying and it was £10 lol.take care amy and thanx again x

id say your over feeding and under watering maybe .trees and shrubs have to reach the water table which can be a long way down which would be there first job.the fact its grown that much so quick i think is a bit worrying though i mite be wrong.
