just soapy water does well if your a bit skint otherwise read above as bamboo sais

as a general rule of thumb most things are best planted while there dorement ie early spring though some plants deal with being moved better than others .some plants dont even like being moved let alone being replanted.

thanx everyone the open day went brilliant thats 2 mayers ive had in my garden.i gave 10 tiger prints to her charity and she wants me to do a sculpture in kings gardens which is thetfords public gardens so thats great.everyone got over £4500 for stnicolas hospice so thats even better and just for good measure i got another commission and the weather stayed good.

dont mend something that isnt broken ill just have to stay being a scruffy git lol

well its never hurt me and im a bit of a soap dodger lol.the stuff in the garden is called soil not dirt.its what keeps us alive.dirt is whats on your averadge hand rail, breakfast bar,in your nose hence having them hairs to filter it out.money is amazlingly dirty.99.something of all english money and ive no doubt that its the same in a lot of countries has cocaine residue on it believe it or not.

i should think it will soon just a late starter just like some humans as it sounds nice and healthy

wild garlic sounds good but it doesnt have to be wild just deal with a bit of dog wee smell nice and haandle shade realy.it can be quite vigerous as it cant get out of there though i dont want it underminding my pond .

On question - Wild Horseradish

i agree Llew.i had a verigated yucka that had the growing tip broken out somehow.i left it because till its showing apserlute signs of death then give it a chance.i now have 3 varigated yuckas though the parent plant no longer egsists .

when i was doing my last water feacture i was standing like you do with a walking stick on the lip of the water fall.i nearly fell backwards but just kept my balance.this is a reasen partly for not doing such big things as well as killing me pain wise.it would of definatly bean a life changing or ending accident.made me think.ive now taken up glass painting due with great thanks to amy who i ow a lot for sewing that perticuler seed.take care you cant be over protected but you can certanly be under protected.bye for now

will it grow in a drain away for a dog run as i dont want to eat it.i just want something that can handle not much light if any and that smells better than a dog run soak away.my mint is growing fine ther .cheers mate

On question - Wild Horseradish

you beat me to it Llew lol

On question - grass and trees

doesnt it grow bye road sides in country lanes or near rivers in partial sun.not sure but i vagly excuse my spelling remember seeing river cottage and hew fernly looking for just that.

On question - Wild Horseradish

no is the clear answer as you shouldnt mend something that isnt broken.daisy is right you can be quite brutal with fatsia.if the growing tip is damaged it will naturaly try harder to be ready to flower and duplicate itself more than once.you kind of answerd your own question.

and the mower naturaly takes care of the weeds well most of and the rest you can get selective weedkiller.

cool

On question - Creosote to kill roots ?

its possible but defeating the object as the weeds will just grow in the soil with the grass
