How many have you got? I only found two different seed packets this year and the stripy ones got eaten by snails. :-( They were called I. 'Flying Saucer' and I was really looking forward to seeing the flowers!

I really don't know right off hand..lol. I'd have to go through all my old seed packets. I didn't germinate any seed this year, luckily a few of the ones left in the garden from years past decided to germinate for me. The flying saucer Ipomeas are beautiful too, the pattern in the bloom is a little different than these, and the bloom is larger than these are, also.

There it is~~~The same illusion of light emitted from the centre of the flower!!! It's interesting that most of the pictures posted of Morning Glories has that feature...?! Will have to look for "Flying Saucer", Spritzhenry! My MG's came from last years seed! Hope we get lots of snow this winter too...I had many plants that seeded from last year... sure saves a lot of work...just have to recognize the seedling when it pops up...pays to be lazy and not weed early in the spring...LOL.

Yes, I noticed that too Lori, the camera either has a hard time focusing on that area, or trouble trying to acheive the perception of depth with appropiate shading and color.

Lovely. I had this, my little string of plant. A few blooms only. Alas I am just too cold for Ipomoea.
