…well, I hope it’s permanent! I woke up this morning to a fairly hard frost but it soon changed to bright sunshine so perhaps Spring is here. Such a difference to the last few days of sleet and drizzle so…….

The sun was warm (although I was wearing a fleece!) and it was lovely to be able to spend time in the garden. The ground is still very wet but I tried to stick to the paths as much as possible and stayed off the lawn. I now have three very large bags of garden rubbish for recycling. The biggest bonus was finding the ladybirds :)

you did well Gee and maybe the unidentified shoots will come to you soon, i have buds on hydragea to and like you not sure what to do with my clematis so will have to check out the tags or look them up, lovely ladybirds,5 hours, you may ache tomoz, have a soak :o))
by the way weather not going to be good till maybe next month they said thid morning, more sleet, rain and cold days to come, maybe some snow in parts :o((

Thanks, everyone, it has been good to get out today, the first times for ages! Back to rain tomorrow (and the day after, and the day after that, etc) but its a start :)

Isn`t it nice to see the new growth coming through? It makes you realise that after the dreadful Winter we`ve had that Spring isn`t too far away. :o)

How lovely to see all the new growth in your garden Gee, makes me want to get out there and have a closer look at my plants, but out for lunch today and hoping tomorrow is fine then there will be no stopping me!

You really did have lots of time in your garden, pleased you enjoyed it aswell, plus a added bonus finding so may things are doing so well.As for the ladybirds that was like the icing on the cake.:o))

nice to see life again. are the unknown shoots lysmachia?
found lots of lady birds in the hollow delphinium stalks just before i composted them. so they are down the side of the garage.

spring is in the air every wear i look around.spring is in the air every site and every sound.and i dont know if im being foolish and i dont know if im being blind but theres something that i must believe in and its there when i look in the sky ........... la.........la a slight change of words couldnt help breaking into song lol .

i cant weight yippee i got plenty to do for my open garden but i like nothing more than being up to my armpits in dirt,cement and stuff lol .my birthday soon the majic big 40 lol.take care dont spend to much on me lol bye for now xx.
