About me

I live in Essex and have a small garden. I am a keen gardner but no expert. I love growing different plants and try to grow those that will attract insects and birds. I have resident slow-worms in my compost heap and love all forms of the natural world. I have three, three compartment sparrow nest boxes, one box for tits and one box with a nestcam. I regularly go birdwatching and for walks in the country and the local woods. Photography is one of my hobbies and the natural world my main subject. Again I claim no particular expertise in any of my pursuits, but enjoy them all in equal measure.
