Ah! Thanks. I shall have to put an order into Longacre, I suspect - they seem to have a good plant-list! I'm even wondering if it's near enough to pay them a visit....!!!!

On photo - A million stars!

Sbg, this one holds its stems in a different way - hard to explain without the two plants side-by-side!

Grindle, I'd love to be able to grow an Acacia, but my garden is just too windy!

Thanks, Sbg. I'll try to get a photo of the other two colours I chose - white and deep gold!

On photo - Yellow primrose

Same answer as the begonia question above - Crazydi has written a blog on keeping fuchsias through the winter! Good luck.

Take a look at Crazydi's blog on keeping begonias through the winter - that might help you. Type her name into the search box, then find the blog.

Good luck!

On question - Begonias

If the tall plants come back up threaten it, I shall fight back! I want to see it all year round - I still think it's GORGEOUS!!!

On photo - Carex and friends!

You might well see it again if it does what the two white ones have, Toto! LOL. I wish I'd bought two at Malvern, now.

Thanks, Ob. Wagger, it's slightly paler than 'Pamina' and I like it a lot. :-))

Is your Acacia hardy, Grindle? I've planted this facing east - I know that Asters can take some shade. Acacias? Nope!!

It might seem a bit odd buying a plant in full bloom, but at least I can 'see' the picture the two make together and enjoy them now for a while.

I resisted another one the other day - name was something like 'Blackberry Pie'??? But the flowers were coming up white! I'd rather like a second pink one, though.

Oh, how I agree, Rufus! :-)

Thanks - there was! I just love it, though. Is that boastful? I hope not. I haven't had the chance of creating an area completely in this garden before - it's all been altering parts of beds here and there....

It's worth seeking out next spring - an excellent geranium!

Enjoy yersel, hinny! Gang canny......(My husband's parents were Geordies...lol)

Auf wiedersehen, mein Freund!

You know I like Asters - and I bought this and the Anemone to plant together. :-))

Good - 'cos so do I, Ian!

I'm hoping it might grow as tall as the white ones planted near it. I love them all - but especially this one!

It looks better than the Jap. Anemones, doesn't it! :-))

So far, so good, Andrew. My spade-work works! lol (sorry!)
