Ah, but - if your bed faces east, you know it gets the sun in the morning! And so on...I thought that was quite useful, rather than the vagueness of 'sun or partial shade' etc.

Ooops again! Yes - tigridias aren't hardy, I agree with Sbg. Lift and store, I'm afraid.

LOL. I've worn holes in my jeans' knees already!

Oh NO! It's been Christmas at all the GCs since the end of September!

It is from their point of view too - vouchers means you have to spend them there! Crafty move...

On photo - Freeby viola pot!

Thanks, Cat! It's a lot better than working....LOL.

It is a miniature one, Grindle. It stays much this size!

Why not try it, Dd??

I did - it wouldn't be told! lol.

I have another ('Donald Lowndes') in the shade of shrubs - I haven't looked to see if that's gone red yet. I must delve!

I fleeced mine - and I have fleece ready to do it again this year if frosts are forecast. They survived OK, which is more than the Coprosmas did! :-(

No idea - but several plants do, don't they! I had checked them on the net before I went to the GC, so I knew this was yours. :-))

Don't know how long it'll take to root properly, but I'll do it and pop it in the coldframe.

Thanks. There was a curly-leaved one - but the plant was small, and although I loved it, it would have vanished in this bed! lol. Louise talked me out of getting the curly one. Thanks, L, you were right!!! :-))

Probably a bit dodgy where you live, Marie - fine here. Sorry.....

HYWEL!!!!!! WOW!!!!!

This was £8. I could have bought 3 for £20 - but I already have two more of them!

OK.....just thought you should know!!! It gets complicated, at times, doesn't it! :-))

Good night all.

On blog - my garden now.

Good. He'll know - or find out. :-))
