Hi there

I took a wander down to the end of the garden to take a picture of my Kiftsgate rose, You can’t see that much on it but It is full of new buds, it has had quite a bad start to life as the position it was in last year it got ate down to nothing by the cows that come in the field sometimes.

I decided to move it further back and it has established once again, then to my bewilderment some sheep came into the field, there is a wire fence to stop the animals but the sheep were going underneath it “I feared for my kiftsgate again” so I went and bought some more wire and put in a new line between ground level and the lowest wire which they were coming through.

I hope that i’ve cured the problem as i know that rose will be spectacular given the chance to grow!

Well Micky you`ve certainly done your best so I hope you get good results from your efforts and that everything comes up smelling of roses.

I like that!

I certainly hope so stroller, don't get me wrong I like to see the animals but when their eating your efforts it's a bit disheartening, i would like to do more with the fenced off "dead" area but not everyone agrees so I have to leave it really, mind you I don't know where all the plants come from? they must just blow in from somewhere !?...............lol.
