Hi Everyone

It’s so nice in the garden now and were set for a blazing weekend apparently.

We have some sleepers placed upright as a boundary at the rear of the garden, the suppliers assured us that they were creosote free, they wasn’t, they don’t leak loads but some just weep when it’s warm, The cats walk along them at times and this worries me as most animals resort to licking to clean themselves, this is not good at all especially with creosote etc.

We came up with an idea to clad the tops of the sleepers with plastic mesh netting to create a barrier so hands and paws wouldn’t make contact with the nasty stuff, i’ve doubled it up to make doubly sure, also i’ve planted some clematis montana to cling onto the netting, it will eventually spread along creating a lovely and pleasant hedge.

Also i’ve nearly finished our rose corner seating area, i’ve bought a load more goodies like pinks to give added fragrance, I can’t wait for all that scent!

After I finished I made some tea!

Here’s some pictures!

Regards, Mick

But Mick - you need more than one seat for when I come a-calling! I'm giving you due warning of an impending inspection of all the things you've done....lol.

Ha ha, there are plenty of seats here Barbara! there is a contemplation seat, a relaxing seat, a raging! seat and a sleeping seat.

I think you maybe want a cuppa as well Barbara! and some cake?

Could this be a pre yellow book inspection I wonder?

Hi Sanbaz

Of course i'll put a cushion on the chair Sandra! I love it when friends come round for a cuppa.

We can sit among the plants and take in the views and fragrance of the plants, and of course chat about goy issues!

Hi Tulsa

No weak tea in this house i'm afraid! but I can make exception for you!

Colin has been a baddie today Tulsa! I was working away and suddenly this figure walked past "with a hare hanging out his mouth swinging merrily along.

Took it into a secluded corner and proceeded to eat it, dirty beast!, but apart from that he's fine!

Yes, it's very cold in the mornings still, to be honest the house yesterday was freezing out the sun, brrrr!

What would you like your tea laced with stroller?
