Well !!!!!! Would you credit it!!!! There wont be any gardening for me this weekend again!
I’ve only been and gone and got SHINGLES!!!
It’s no wonder i haven’t been feeling to perky this last few weeks lol.
I am relieved though because I thought I had SCABIES!! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! But it wasn’t. I’m glad I went to the doctors because I was beginning to feel like an ‘untouchable’ very distressing. But now I have been told that it is actually Shingles I feel much better albeit much worse physically lol. She said It has a good grip and that it will be a while before I feel any better.
Ah blinkin eck!!! Thats all I need. Just when I have just started that new feature in the front garden. What next lol.

Hello Lynne,
All the best, but you will be in the garden again soon, but for little bits of time only. Do not go in the sun, if you have it on your face, like I did. It took 6 months before I felt no more pain. But eventually all will be gone. I understand how you feel, I started in January this year. I wish you all the best. One consolation: it will go away. Hope they gave you some pills, which will make it feel a bit better and suppress the condition. This can only be given if within 48 hours of rash appearing. Do not scratch if itchy. Mine wasn't at all, but very painful, yet I was in the garden, as it does distract. But bending over hurts. Within 3 weeks the rash will be gone, but pain will linger on for ages. Hope I am being helpful. Big hug!

You poor, poor thing! What a nasty thing to get. I know it itches and hurts too. Calamine lotion will ease it. Get well soon. Gentle hugs. XX

Thanks again xxx
It is really itchy but it has been for quite a while, I thought I had had a spider or something trapped in my top a few weeks ago, and that it had bitten me and caused a reaction but it was this all along. The pain is on either side of my spine between my shoulder blades, but im going to ignore it so that it goes away!!! lol.

Hug from me and new cat, Socks (pic maybe soon).
Watch loads of gardening DVDs with thick mittens on, or try knitting to stop yourself scratching?
Hope that's not too flippant - they say laughter is the best medicine. : ))
Seriously, hope the discomfort is as short-lived as possible, and you can enjoy your garden again soon.

I believe that sun makes it itch more, Lynne, so you're safe there! LOL. DO NOT go out in your bikini if the sun pops out!

Just to keep Peter happy i'm going to say
