All on my own.

Saturday Bank Holiday and I’m on my own. No wife no kids as they are with relatives.
So I get all weekend in the garden. Hooray!!!!
So the first job is to continue with my new project of laying another path and a small secluded seating area to enable me to enjoy the garden from a different perspective. This will also allow me to remove some more grass and mainly daisy’s from the area to create bigger beds for more plants.\
The pic above is where the seating area is going to be sited allowing me to then lay a continuing brick path to the adjoining new one under the home made Hazel arch(for sweet pres and beans).\
This will then link down to the little bridge of the dry gravel stream(when it rains it is a small stream). You can see already where my foot fall is from contstantly using this route. I shall dig out and then insert the path brick by brick so it matches the other paths I have laid in this manner. Obviously allowing the flower beds to become bigger. More plants.\
This is how the last path looks under the Home made arch. a big improvement from when i first started as it is now planted with Foxgloves, Lupins,Campanula,Hostas and as of yesterday some Ligularia I’ve grown from seed.\
The before pic.

I hope everyone enjoys there garden and garden visiting this weekend.

Warning - don't try to do it all just because you are on your own! Watch the time and give yourself well-earned breaks...When you are by yourself, time has a habit of slipping away. Good luck, hope everything goes well.

Your garden is looking real good and the sitting area is going to add a lot to it.
