24 April and sunny with my little helper.

I think I wrote a blog on the 12th april so this one is two weeks later.
The sun has been out for days now and everything including the weeds are starting to move at quite a rapid pace.
So I thought I would share a couple of pictures taken today at tea time.

This is of the box beds which each have a fruit tree in them (two apples, one pear and a plum) planning for long term here as they only went in just over a year ago. The beds are also planted up with tulips, the white/cream ones are out now and should be followed by orange ones as these fade.

The next two are of my little helper. He loves being outside and moans if I go out without him. Mind you so does Bramble my border collie.

He isn’t much help at the moment, but I want him to touch and feel everything as I want to encourage as much as possible.

He has his lawnmower, and wheelbarrow but his favourite thing is a couple of pots with pebbles in. He plays with these for ages, but it all helps with eye hand coordination.

Oh and we have to pat the two lions every time we go in the garden as well.

I hope you are all enjoying the sun as much as Evan and myself.

I was so pleased to see another blog featuring Evan - he is good enough to eat! I was impressed that you have the self control to match up all your tulips - it's so hard to resist giving in to getting lots of different ones when there are so many lovely varieties. They look grand, so restrained an peaceful.

The garden is looking so good, compliments to the head gardener but watch your back it looks as if the undergardener is almost ready to take over.

Sandra, not sure if I mentioned it before but that time that Kelly and myself visited Pembrokeshire and visited Coreside nursery a couple of years ago. Kelly was pregnant with Evan and we didn't even know. I can only say that all the fresh air and costal paths have made him nice and strong and very active.

Shirley tulip, it's a dinosaur I had carved, (Triceratops) several years ago for my other two boys who are now 17 and 15. But it does get sat on and people always talk about it, some even think it's a rhino. But it's a talking point.
