I live in Essex with my wife, two grown up sons and our little terrier Paddy. I got the gardening bug many years ago but my previous garden was the size of a pocket handkerchief. Since moving in 2003 to my current home I have put all my efforts into my gardens and have become a gardening addict. So much so, that since 2005, I have worked (self employed) doing garden maintainance for people in my local area. Perrenial flower beds are my great passion but I also grow vegetables in my side garden in a patch which I dug in autumn/winter 2010/2011.
In December each year(since 2010), I turn into Santa/Father Christmas , visiting, corporate events, schools, private parties, social clubs etc etc" ! great fun...and I even get paid for some of them which helps to keep the wolf from the door in the dark winter months when there's precious little gardening work to do!
