Hampton Court Flower Show.

Well tomorrow my wife is taking me to Hampton Court flower show for the day.
I have a pocket full of spare pennies (before the credit crunch/ressession/inflation etc kicks in) to take and spend.

The alarm clock is already set for an early start. Get up, shower, drive to London, park up, enter show and enjoy.

This will be the first visit to Hampton Court Flower Show, I have been to Tatton and Chelsea and a lot of little independant ones and even taken part in one at Blenhiem Palace whilst at college. But I am really looking forward to this one. Having watched the TV programme on it last night there was a Garlic Farm owner on from the Isle of Wight and he summed it up for me in a few words. “This show is for gardeners”.

I can understand what he means having visited Chelsea.

As per every other visit to gardens/ garden centres and shows, there is nothing I need. I do have a huge want list in my head that I have to sometimes battle with my conscience to justify any potential purchase.

My only problem is I have a cold. It turned up last night and I am now full steam ahead snorting every bit of beechams I can find along with drinking all the orange juice I can lay my hands on, hoping to drive it away.

One things for sure, it’s not going to stop me enjoying myself tomorrow.

Oh, neither is the rain.

Have a wonderful day at the flower show. Take something for your cold and I do hope your wife is driving, so you can relax. I think once you're there you'll forget all about your cold and it could even go, LOL. Hope you'll take your camera!

Oh dear, I hope it doesn't keep you from attending. Looking forward to your pics etc. I suggest a stop for lunch at a chinese restaurant, the best thing for colds is Hot and Sour Soup! Feel better!!!

I hope your cold doesn't spoil the day for you, but they do tend to disappear when we're doing something we really want : ) Have a wonderful time and sorry to repeat - don't forget to take plenty of photos.
