Allium christophii Pictures by spritzhenry
Allium christophii
I didn't know the height these would reach, so they are in the wrong position...however, I plunged them into the soil in their pots, so I can move them easily later!

How tall does it get Spritz?

Disappointingly, only about 16 "?? My book says 12 - 24"...Not tall enough for where they are, to be seen properly.. I think Pp may have had a different one.
'Purple Sensation' would have been better there, mine seem to get taller and stand out more. But that lovely metallic colour goes so well with the Persicaria. I can't start moving everything around, can I? Magic wand needed! LOL.

The autumn will be here too soon and you will be able to move whatever you like. I think you should enjoy them where they are as they look wonderful anyway.

What else?
See who else is growing Allium christophii (Persian Onion).
See who else has plants in genus Allium.

Yes they certainly tower above most of the border plants, I bought a mixed bag of alliums 3 years ago and there was just one of this species, I think I may have lost it as there is no sign of it this year.
