Oh ! Beautiful : )
I had one of these and it was about 4 ft high with several branches, then it just shriveled up and died last year : (

Lovely plant! I have asked this elsewhere, but I'll ask again here - I have one of these which is now a single rosette on a 10 inch stem. How do I encourage it to branch?

Mine branched of it's own accord. I think it does so as it grows taller.

I used to have these and now and again I would snap a branch off to give away, and two or three new rosettes would come from the gap. They are so strong in the right climate. In the spring, it would send out a massive yellow cone-shaped flower.

Like Hywel I had a large one also and mine just died as well. I have many cacti and succulents and they do very well but this one just didn't make it. Wish I knew what I did wrong.

Thats a shame Mike :o( I don,t do anything special with mine , they stand outside all summer and then are put in the greenhouse over winter .in fact they are something that get ignored most of the time .poor things ,perhaps they like to be left alone lol

I'm thinking that maybe sometimes we fuss too much with plants Amy.

i find the problem time for aeoniums is the winter.
too much water and the stem rots not enough and all the leaves drop off.
from november till march only water when it has realy dried out. never let them stand in water. less is definately more.
if you have to bring them into the house for the winter make sure they have good light. Amy has it right they seem to thrive on neglect!!!
