It looks similar to the caramel one featuring at many of the shows this year, are they related perhaps ?

Yes Xela I think you are right, thankyou. ... This is the one the voles had tunnelled around...I moved it when I started work on the pond and it seems to like the new spot I've given it much better than the one it was in... I'm thankful it's recovered and growing nicely.

I'm a big fan of Heuchera, they can add so much colour without flowering and seem pretty tough.

With over 100 cultivars of Heucheras it is not surprising that identification is difficult. This is so much like the one I am growing called 'Marmalade' but looking at 'Caramel' on the web I can detectvery little difference. They are just so robust, rarely attacked by pests and diseases, 'evergreen', great ground cover and weed supressers, flower spike good for flower arranging - a plant that has everything.

A thousand pardons to all my helpful friends who share my confusion on this one!!... I found the label in the garden shed...and here's the funny thing...It is tagged Marmalade and all this time I thought it was "caramel" They are very much alike...to the point of justifiable confusion...I looked at them on the web and was convinced that I had Caramel... Good eye, Dioon11!!.

Like Chrispook I do love foliage and these are so nice. And I have never seen dill grow, so I am learning.

Hi Marguerite! They don't call it DillWeed for nothing! All that is growing in my garden has self seeded from last year...it came up in a furry mat so I've weeded and thinned and now it is about a foot tall, will top out at 4 to 5 feet. I love tall plants, and mixing herbs with perennials and annuals...garden alchemy! Thanks for your kind comments.
