About me

I am a retired Local Government Principal Officer who had responsibility for managing the landscapes, open spaces, woodlands, parks, playing fields, Allotments and Amenity Gardens of a second generation new town in England, UK. I am now enjoying a return to my grass roots and photographing the results of my labours. For the past 7 years I have been helping not so young friends and people interested in gardening to enhance their private spaces to truly "Their Room Outdoors".
