Garden at the end of July

My tomato plant is 6 ft. high

\

I harvested my first 2 tomatos yesterday…the first one a critter ate a hunk of it. (critters one…me one) the rest are higher up so maybe I’ll get more than the critters do.

My cucumbers.

\

Daughter harvested several during our trip to Nebraska. I have plenty more coming.

\

My easter egg plant. :) They get the size of a chicken egg and turn light shades of yellow and green when ripe thus looking like easter eggs.
\

My stargazer lilies.

\

My Hibiscus…no tag so I’m unsure of the variety. Loved the foliage.

\

6 in. ruler to show size of bloom.

\

Yellow dwarf canna. (please ignore the weeds lol they got way ahead of me while I was gone.)

\

Blue girl climbing rose.

\

If her magic were real I wouldn’t have weeds to worry about…if only argh.

That tomato looks like a real monster, he's huge. I'm sure there's going to be enough toms for you and the critters lol.
The rest looks just as good and the weeds are forgiven seeing as you just got back from your trip :-)))

Lovely veg to come back to. Love the fairy with the purple Pennisetum behind. I have these every year but have never managed to keep them overwinter, even indoors.

yes Penisetum 'rubrum' aka purple fountain grass. I absolutly love it and yes I purchase it as an annual. I plan on letting the neighbor know they can harvest any toms that ripen on their side of the fence lol.

The tomato plant is really enormous! The Stargazer Lilies, the Hibiscus & the Canna are are lovely. I grew all three on my balconies in Spain but I haven't grown any of them on my balcony here in the UK.
