I intend to take some under cover this year - I have three in pots. I just hope Amistad survives for next year!

How strange - it looks fine to me! Maybe you are standing on your head??? Lol.

I was stunned when both mine survived last winter!

I had several more, but I was too late to get pics. :(

Sorry, Sbg, it wasn’t me!

Hallo Ba and Hywel, nice to see you too. Aleyna, thank you all for your lovely comments and welcomes. xx

On blog - Another project.

Hallo folks! I haven’t been too good, unfortunately- I have been suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia. Anyway, enough of that, but thank goodness for a very caring GP!!

Thanks, Derek, I suspect and hope you might be right!

Sbg, I got it at a plant fair, on sale from the garden owner who denies all knowledge of it. :(

I sincerely hope it will keep its colour, Brian, but only time will tell. I know that Hot Lips goes white at the end of the season, and they are related.

Did you realise we got it from a reclamation yard?

On photo - My urn this year.

It's strange, Brian, but I don't like 'Hot Lips' - I love this one, though!

Thanks, Hywel and Dd.

Yes, Eirlys, the rose has a lovely scent.

On blog - A HORROR STORY!!

We made the 'platform' especially for the plinth and urn, Green finger.

It was worth every penny, Honeysuckle. :-)

Yes, it was. :(

That is the right hand end of 'the Great Wall of Somerset', Maggie. We had it built when the row of Leylandii we inherited started to die, and it is the best thing we ever did!!! I think I wrote a blog about it, in fact I'm sure I did.

On blog - Old trees.

I know - what I didn't realise is that they like these as well as my Heucheras. GRRR....

Expensive, though. :-(

Yes, I will. There have been more developments since I wrote the blog!!!

This one hasn't lasted at all, sob, sob, it could have been the dreaded VWs!!!! grrrrrrrrrr.....
