The common name for this plant is 'Chinese Foxglove', by the way.

Yes, Siris, newly bred apparently and launched at Chelsea this year (only I didn't know that when I bought it!)

Want to borrow my magic shoe horn, Ba? lol.

Could your Clematis be C. x durandii? It looks just like the one I have scrambling through a Philadelphus.

I can't remember the number of mine but that'll be the updated version, and yes, it's VERY useful! Buy some rolls of tape if you do order one.

Lovely photos - hasn't your Paeony done well! :-))

I don't think that's a foxglove, though - it's a snapdragon (Antirrhinum). I love the way they seed themselves and pop back up.

Not surprised nothing has tried munching your Aconites (Monkshood) - they must realise they're poisonous.

Mine is a Brother...can't remember the model.

But, Cammomile, although they *are* very pretty, they are biennial. I would go for perennials - C. lactiflora. I have it in white, mauve and pale mauve. The mauve one is 'Prichard's Variety' and the pale mauve is 'Lodden Anna'. I think the white one is just C. lactiflora 'Alba'.

No, it can't be, Bathgate. C. Montana buds are dark and spherical. When those buds open, we'll know what it is! LOL.

Have you checked it carefully for bugs? How old is the plant? Also check for ants' nests under it.

The snapdragon flowers are a lot smaller, even as compared with 'ordinary' ones, Siris. I am hoping the snapdragon really is perennial. Apparently it was only launched at Chelsea this year - I didn't know that when I came across it at the GC.

Nor do I. Is a garden ever 'finished'?

I don't grow much orange in my own garden, so I wanted to be 'different'. ;-D

Ba, it just seeds itself everywhere! I love it as well.

Wells, why not - I have names for all the areas of my garden. :-)

Thanks, Balcony - I wanted it to be bright and cheerful. :-)

Golly - I hadn't realised how long ago I wrote it! :-O

You are very welcome. :-)

Nooooo...as long as it isn't out in the open, Dawn. It needs to be trained against a wall or fence, anyway. Mine has never suffered any damage from frost or cold winds and I've had it for - oooh - about 6 years, I think.

Thanks, it does stop people in their tracks, Meanie! I planted a whole lot more last autumn when I knew how gorgeous they were. :-)))

Yes, it always draws people's attention. I love them! :-))
