I didn't see it - and I'm glad, from the sound of it!

On blog - Cats have fun..

Ha - ours is 500 years old!!!!!! Sorry - not trying one-upmanship here. It does make phones and wi-fi difficult, though. We had to get a special device that plugs into the mains so I can use my laptop in another room from where the hub lives.

We were soooooo lucky to find it. I can't believe the history it must have seen! :-)))) We had a historical survey done by the Somerset Vernacular Buildings group, and they were able to tell us who lived here in 1608 - they apologised for not finding the records for the first 100 years! Shame, but if they couldn't, we certainly couldn't!

Please send some over here and up north as well! ;-))

Thanks, Angie! :-))))

Shame we can't take a look at yours! Maybe Santa will give you a new camera?

Did you absolutely HAVE to say that, Bamboo? Grrrr.....

Shame - in an old house, the walls are 2'6" thick - so the light is a problem. Several rooms have no windowsills, they have window seats instead! I'm left with two sills - and they're full!

Ooohh - no thanks! Walking Henry is enough for me!

It started off sunny and warm, but it's been drizzly here AGAIN since lunchtime. I just carried on, though. Am I a wimp? NO!! :-)) (just damp!) lol.

Ah-ha - did he find the old man up there? LOL.

Oooohhh!!! Painful! LOL.

Wow! What a job! The Best of British with that lot - don't do your back in, will you!

On blog - Not been around

Siamese cats are quite different to the other breeds, aren't they! Tell you what, though - Henry wouldn't care - he'd still chase them! LOL.

You can rake them off, pick them off by hand, or run the mower over them. They are due to damp weather, and there is no chemical that stops them appearing.

Nerines, possibly? Are they in flower now? You are lucky. They're lovely!

You are - and although it will be hard work to get it to your liking, it looks as though it was a well-planted and loved garden. :-))

I think I'd better break it to you VERY gently that the cattle in the farm up stream stand in the stream and............errrrr........maybe you'd be better not knowing, Tt!!! :-(((

H. is very good at herding sheep and cattle - in the wrong direction! LOL.

Thanks, Jacque - I just hope it likes my soil!

Will he notice? Mine doesn't. LOL. If you are clever, you can get it to grow in crevices in the wall! I haven't managed it yet in our stone walls. :-((

On photo - Campanula!

I shall have to look into them, Alz. If they're a window sill plant, I haven't got a hope! NO space left. :-(( Where do you grow yours?
