very good NP and also very true :o))

Brilliant story NP....A lot of lessons can be learnt from it.....:>))

Yes NP even broken things can be loved. I have a damaged china duck about 2" long that my daughter aged 8 gave me in floods of tears, She had chosen this for me on a school trip and then she dropped it. I treasure it.

theres a lot of it about Np-- I just keep taking my manuka honey hope you feel better soon :)

thanks Np, made me think and smile on what looks to be a cold, wet day :o)

Very good.

Nice one, NP

Great story Np, from one cracked pot to another.

So true NP we all have our uses no matter how small :)

wow, that was wonderful, made me think!! What a lovely story

they are amazing !! i do admire people with this talent ,, have tried drawing but not with alot of success (well none actually!)

From someone who cant draw a straight line I think all your pics and sculptures are amazing - its nice to see you draw something different that made you think!! we all should try something new otherwise it would be a boring old world!!

I think your paintings look great..... i do some art work myself, ,i do it to please myself.... i think its a very enjoyable hobby and very relaxing...... jus t paint as you wish theres no right or wrong... as long as your happy doing it... it should help with your sad......

I like your paintings think there great keep it up.

love to see your efforts-- :o)

i LOVE that NP, can't wait to see it in the garden, my daughter is doing her GCSE art at the moment its based on Alice in Wonderland, i will see if i can sneak a photo of some on her work lol!!!

maybe acrylic as you can water it down to tranparent but also put on thick and even add 'texture paste' it dries quickly - not like oil-but sometimes too quickly so you can add a clear gel to slow the drying--- see I can' talk the talk' but find it much harder to ' walk the walk', I enjoy experimenting with different medium, some at my class do wonderful things using a combination of medium such as watercolour and pastel or a delicate watercolour but a little acrylic on the top such as people in a landscape which I find hard in a landscape what to do first the background or the people -- either way I seem to get a 'halo' of whitr around them and it doesn't look natural. watercolours lovely for delicate flowers like poppies where you can almost see through them, frustrating -- but great fun :o)

NP you've started at the top with the most difficult subjects. You've clearly got talent so stick with it. You've done a brilliant job of the Orangutan, those eyes. I like the photo of the five dogs.

I go to art classes and its amazing the wealth of talent there, I'm nowere near as good as you I think your oranutan is wonderful butwatercolour is different, you've used it in such a vibrant way, often its ligher, more transparent and delicate, i'm doing a collage of butterfly wings at the moment--- partly with a fine black pen and a 00 brush!-- the trouble with watercolur ( and there are many!) is that its almost impossible to correct mistakes-- its difficult to cover them up without it going 'muddy' and --almost-- impossible to remove. but you are using them in a wonderfully dramatic way so I suggest you keep going back to them or using them in mixed media bests wishes PG

ivy is my favorite.....im always standing and staring at the artwork it makes when its twisted round ancient trees...found a tree that was covered in ivey and the tree inside rotted, so leaving a honeycome tube...i got inside it and took a photo upwards (didnt look like what it was ment to be, in my head though)

i think this is really really good. and the way you described how "easy" it was to make makes me think i could have a go at something like this. inspirational. think the colour looks good as is, looks like its made of lead.
