That's just great, Leigh, the hair looks so soft . . . . .

Very good

lol i set up my self-watering plant pots to catch rain (which is bouncing knee-high at the moment] and only realised today that the reason they're not filling up is that they have overflow valves to stop the plants getting flooded!

Brrrrr makes me feel chilly. Bucketing down with rain at the moment. Keeping the butts filled. I expect they are a bit more relaxed at the moment, without those icy beards spouting water instead of ice.

the one nearest the camera looks as if he'd been in floods of tears!

Well, ivy has a habit of returning....so you may find you get it back again, NP....but it's good to try and tame it even if it doesn't totally disappear!

Nice to see you posting too, NP :)

Check again, it's deffo in my sent box! If it's not there I'll have to retype it!!!!!

Sending you a pm Nosey!

I had to save that link to my favourites! Thank you.
6d introduced me to the Nepanthes this week, but we never got its full name - a little harsh to name it after Sir David I think!
I have a couple of Ceropegia, here's the link....

I do have some spare seeds for Mimosa pudica which I would be happy to post to you.

Interesting, thank you NP :-) The dancing plant was particularly unusual - I thought you were joking til I saw it.

Just had a look at it. What strange plants. We used to have a sensitive plant many years ago and actually saw them growing in the wild in Singapore. I would say the web site is very you noseypotter - if you know what I mean!

Acer tree did not resist autumn, but mushrooms evidently did.

I've only just seen this but I think it's really imaginative and so different. It must make a realy nice feature in your garden. Well done.

Great pic - pixie on the toadstool!

I have seen them before Leigh, wonderful, love them. Fine here thanks, daughter is doing well, doing a series of self portraits as we speak as part of her course :-)

They are amazing Leigh, just brilliant, as ever.

Your toadstools are great..... dont think i would ever be able to make them like you......

Hmm... I'd keep it in the pot and let it suffer!! Cherries don't like being pruned except in summer when the sap is flowing well. The pot will restrict it's growth. Or donate it to the local school/golf course etc!

This is fantastic - did you make individual circles and then join them together, or did you make the framework entirely from wire and then push the cement in?

I could see this working really well with some school projects I have in mind and am interested in knowing how you got it to work so well.

Has it stood the test of time since you put it up? What sort of maintenance has it needed if any?

Thanks

northeastmatt

I know I'm late to this but it's such a fab fence, I just love it. I have a 20 meter roll of chicken wire, Meant to keep puppies at bay, it didn't! So may give it a try! Love your website by the way! I'm try to build one for my stained glass mosaics but I spend more time swearing at my computer!!

Big Bird? in the middle has hibernated, like yourself, cheesed off with his chilly chin, and the nearest one is absolutely fed up with the whole business. He fails to see how magnifico is his wondrous beard. He senses it is getting heavier every day. The one at the other end was thinking about jumping. Then he realised there was ice below!!!!
