you are so talented, NP.... I love the character of the aged, too....the lines and wrinkles are a challenge to render...but, in my opinion, the soul shines brighter from hooded eyes. There's a depth there that reaches in and grabs an artist, saying~~like the poodle~~ "here I am! show them!"

It looks loke a harts tongue fern. I had them growing out of a wall in my previous garden. They're very tough.

Very tough by the look of it!

Yes indeed. It's like your yard is a portal for sleeping earth giants to enter our world from. Awesome!

That's how i lost my 13 yr old dalmation - torsion & bloat. I guess it is fairly common, but my first (&hopefully last) experience with it.

Looks like a giant emerging from the earth - great!

Thats a nice colour. I like the red ones! Took mine inside for the winter, but left the green out as they are in heavy planters. I will try to wrap them and see if they survive the cold.

Skulls again, lol!

Nice feathery look to the fronds.

Beautiful!!

The upward tilt to his mouth adds a likeability to his face and draws us in. Nice!

I've known some pit bulls that were wonderful dogs; seems most of the problems come from the owners not being aware of the dogs ability to do damage with their locking jaws and "training" them to be agressive or letting them become a dominant dog out of lack of experience with the breed. Mind, there are some dogs that are born mentally defective and cannot be worked with, but they are few & far between and not breed specfic. Unfortunately ther are a lot of irresponsible humans out there...

Awwwww! All worn out after a hard days' play, lol!

What a nice shar-pei ! Is she a miniature or wiil she be full size? My brother had two of the larger ones years ago. They were great watchdogs, but had the gentlest and loving little personalities.
