Today's the Day

Posted on 30 May, 2008 5 comments

Well it’s been a week and I haven’t seen my garden.
Ive been working away since the weekend and I can’t wait to get home and see whats happened/grown/in flower.

My wife has been busy in the greenhouse potting on. She lets me know whats flowering and whats happening. More lillies are out. Since I have lots of lillies I wonder which ones they are.

Alliums are almost over leaving their fantastic seed heads on display.

The Rodgersia’s were sending up huge flower spikes when I left last week, how big are they now?
Roses were starting to put in an apperance.

I have another Ligularia to plant, one with serrated leaf edges. Brick path to finish off, and if it’s dry the grass to cut.

Cant wait to get home. Hope the rain stays away.

you must be itching to get stuck into doing some gardening by the sounds of it... always so exciting when you have been away for a while to see all the changes that have occurred. hope the rain does stay away for you and you have a great weekend.

You will find that EVERYTHING has grown like mad! Jobs will include: grass cutting, weeding, staking flopped plants, need I go on? But you will see so many more flowers out, too, to make up for the work that awaits. Have fun!
