The wild turkey hen was here in the meadow just about the entire day with her single poult. It rained all morning so she was preening and feeling a little frisky from the cooler weather. The squirrel in the right front corner didn't know what to make of her flapping.

Wow, she not a little thing is she, I wouldn't want to wonder too close to her poult, I'd hate to get flogged by something that big...lol.

LOL...flogged is the word...those wings would beat you senseless, wonder if hens have spurs on their feet like the Toms do?
