Thanks Grammazoo. This is my mother-in-laws. I was in the kitchen this morning listening to music on my iPod and I did not hear her come in the back door. She scared the bejeezes out of me!!! She came to inform me that it had bloomed. She knew that I'd want to get a picture and she was right, it's gorgeous and big (about 5-6 inches in diameter).

Xela- This is called Epiphyllum or more commonly known as the Orchid Cactus.

The flowers are really spectacular, but very short lived.

I know there is at least one other person on here, besides myself, who have epiphyllums and hope for such blossoms! mine is enjoying the outdoors at present.
