Getting ready for the big show (the biggest i enter anyway)

Last night i went, with my dad, to cover the stand at the show ground to save some time on Thursady. Rain, Rain, It poured and thundered too.
The weather doesn’t sound too good for Thursday, i hope we don’t get too much while we are trying to unload the plants because we will have to cover the plants with an umberella to stop the blooms from getting spoilt. This will make the whole job much more long winded. It takes all day Thursday without that, could be a late night!
Too wet to have taken my camera last night, i don’t think it would be working if it had been in that rain. I will try to take some on Thursday if i get chance. I shall take some of the stand on show days, and some pictures of other peoples entries too.
I’m off now to pack up the ferns ready for Thursday, and water all the plants in the greenhouses as they won’t get watered again until after the show!

All best wishes for the show and let's hope the weather improves for you. Yes its STILL raining here in Bristol today and thunder and lightning last evening as well. Let's hope the conditions are not too bad for you on Thursday.

Good luck at Shrewsbury, hope all goes well. I went on a day trip last year to Shrewsbury really enjoyed it and luckely it was a nice sunny day, will be thinking of you.
