Thanks for sharing your photos. It's a lovaly place. My brother and his family always went there for their hols when the kids were small. I have lots of little gifts they brought back for me with 'La Palmyre' on them - because I used to look after their cats while they were away.

Doesn't it look wonderful. To drive down that road with all those plants to look at, why can't we do that or something similar in this country im sure everybody would be much happier going to work if the roads were nicer.

Thank you all for your kind comments, what a small world Hywel, we went with most of the grandchildren from 4 months to 9 years!! our other daughter looked after the garden, well someone had to!! plus some of the neighbours, luckily for us it had rained most of the time.

Mushy, have you seen my blog "Public Garden Displays"? It's on the 2nd page of my blogs. I show there some of the photos I've taken of the garden displays that the local council plants up twice a year. They are on the ring road that circles the town centre. The council has some magnificent displays & last year we were 2nd in the Anglia in Bloom competition.
