Hi Terra, I once read somewhere in a wise book written by American psychologist that mankind is so unhappy as it forgets to have a joy from simple things in life. And he put an example - simple joy is very similar to the joy of a dog playing with a ball :) As we grow older, we are forgetting these things which we were capable of as small kids.
So go on! I so much wish to have foxterrier like you have :)

It was Truffle's idea to give the kisses ... I was lucky to click the camera at the right time. Boris is getting wet in the rain today, but he doesn't seem to mind !

Terra I love the pics of Conker investigating the parcel and then posing in the planter and both him and Truffle posing in the box itself, not altogether sure about the kiss from Truffle though, I think its more a case of testing to see if it tastes good, lol..
I do like the name and Boris looks very good all planted up, the boys look well pleased with the end result, in fact they look as though they are smiling at you, its a wonderful gift and will look grand in your garden.
Very entertaing blog and the pics are grand, wouldn`t need the bath out here Terra, the rain has come back with a vengeance....

The hot sunshine didn't last all that long... but we made the most of it, and were glad to be out there sharing play time with Boris ;o)
Truffle does enjoy kisses, and it was very much his idea to keep kissing Boris... Lol.

Katarina is so right in what she said. The simple things in life are forgotten nowadays as its all too " must have " instead of being thankful for what we have and should cherish. Well done Terra.

It has looked so different this summer because of all the rain ... usually by August, my lawns are pale from too much sunshine !

You are the only one who would have thought of a bichon frisé planter Tt, I had a look at Marks blog after seeing this. I would never had guessed a specific dog breed lol. I love the face you've given him too .... perfect and his name, after anyone we know? So lovely to see the boys helping out at each stage too, they are a credit to you and all the care you give them. Looking at Goy from hotel Boutique in Hoi An in Vietnam looking over the pool where top gear was filmed (Not that I am into top gear that much) I hear the weather has been rather pleasent the past week, just my luck, just as I go away my veg start to appear, great!!
