Husband said that he couldn't have got a photo - the kingfisher flew like an arrow!

I wouldn't get there in time, Dawn - I'm so often on hands and knees, or in the middle of a flower bed! :-((

LOL. I almost fell over, Grindle! I had the torch in one hand, and you need two hands to take a photo, don't you! I couldn't see where my feet were!

Great idea, Angie. Go, girl!

On photo - Tricyrtis hirta....

It's worth finding, Dd. It is a lovely one!

The blossom is just beautiful, Dawn - especially close-up. :-))

We have a kingfisher which flies down the stream through the garden - my husband is sooooo lucky - he's seen it four times - and me? None at all. :-(( Who does the gardening? ME!!!

It is lovely, isn't it! Now you know why we decided to retire here. :-))

Not on Exmoor, though - it gets snow up there! It can be very bleak in the winter.

It gets tiny little hard pears, Dawn - I wouldn't want to eat them though! lol.

Thanks, Lori! Sorry about yours, though....

I haven't seen you for ages - are you all right?

Amazing, Lori! So you're into the cold months now, are you?

I quite like them, Lori! They remind me of fairy tales....when I was a child....

Funny, that - I don't drink, either - or smoke! My 'vice' is being a plantaholic - I confess. Is there a Group for us? (Yes -GOY!!!)

I love these!

They're worse! The roots are so difficult to dig out - and they're in large clumps!

I don't believe the forecasters - they get it wrong so often! So I shall wait and see!

I hope the weather allows me to get you some seeds - to be honest, I forgot today! Ooops! I don't think it's going to rain all day tomorrow.

That's so sad, Alz!

Thanks - have you got this one?

I suspect that with gales on the way, these won't last long, Pp!
