I think you're very lucky! Badgers are way cooler than a pristine lawn.
But there is stuff you can do. The Badger Trust has lots of advice:
http://www.badger.org.uk/content/Living.asp
Do be careful because there is legislation protecting badgers.
On question - How can we stop Badgers digging ...
yes here too, I have things dropping their leaves, primroses, roses cyclamen all in flower:(
On blog - What a confused garden!
It's just like taking penstomen cuttings, take strong side shoots from the main stems cut below a leaf node and pinch out the flower tip. I have used a cutting compost with some vermiculite in it for drainage, water in and hope for the best. Do quite a few in case some fail as they usually do, Bonariensis is really easy as i have done these for some years now and given lots to friends and family.

The grass looks really nice, unfortunately space is the thing we don't have much of. Maybe when we move.

I love pinks the smell of the cloves takes me back to my childhood - Dad loved them (6foot 4 big bloke who would bend down to pick and smell such a delicate looking plant was a sight to be seen!)

Dem seedz contain LSA .. oops , well only my pal 'm' ever tried eating these seedz... heehe
Loved this plant as a youngster... forests full of it in chimanimani(.com) the crystal city in the sky.., however it's not indigenous and 'hang's' around only between the town and Bridal Veil Falls (40 or 50m .. peninsula/drop.) wow and caves & tunnels of it in friends gardens.... memories...
in they say that 'memory is directly linked to smell' ... maybe the internet will create the 7th sense.

Hi Spritz, there are other things besides plants to be aware of, never use cocoa shells as a mulch, it's toxic to dogs and smells so good they might well eat it.
