yes think your right better to not have to many, i would like a few darker leaves in my garden,im off now karen,, soo tired and hard to type lay flat out on sofa lol,, nite x

yep a wood pigeon, the largest of them all, common pigeons smaller and more colour infact mixed colours from grey to brown to white and grey,, i love the woodpigeons and doves cause they arent a pain and either alone or in pairs, but common ones take over and ruin the garden

coloured doves alot smaller richard and just pale grey with white collar, no other markings,

must be hard keeping things going on your allotment balcony, some rain would do it good, hope you get some soon ;o)
