San, I just love the way you introduced your blog(s). I agree with every word you wrote! Wonderful to just see all the simple little pleasures you enjoyed on your stroll and you are so right, we don't do it enough. I enjoyed your tour round the garden. You have such lovely flowers and I am always amazed how everything looks so healthy and lush. The fotographs too are well taken especially I like your Cistus, because I bought the same one recently. But everything in my garden is well behind others, maybe they just need longer in the terraces, so it was great to see whats blooming lovely in yours. Thank you

cheers balcony i just altered the waterfall slightly last week so there is a small pool below fall, the birds love to bath and drink there, saying a small alteration it took me an hour with breaking knees and moving stones, also trying not to topple in lol

cheers titchy thanx for your kind comments, i love the cistus to, just keeps producing flowers each day, at first i was dissapointed when they dropped after one day, but next day full again, i realised its what it does, this is its second year, first year nothing so dont worry, they will come ;o))

Thank you for walking me through your garden sanbaz. I love all your plants and amazed myself at being able to identify most of them! I especially like your water feature and your nasturtiums - what a lovely shade of yellow, my favourite colour.

Seen both halves now and better than the football .. I expected to see a brilliant show in first few pics deteriorating badly in second half.

Unlike our team it got better as halfs progressed .Oops we re into laps now .. Ok mm good to do a circuit of your garden .

Super pics again San thank you for the second stroll I love your bumble bees farrrrrrrrrrrr better than the million mad bumble bees that appear at all the world cup football matches :o)

I really enjoyed the stroll. Thanks for inviting us all to accompany you. I see your nasturtiums are well in flower; mine are nowhere near that yet, although I planted the seeds in good time. I guess you have a very sunny garden. I think nasturtiums are great for giving some colour and they don't require lots of TLC.

Did stroll 1 and now completed stroll 2 and have to say Sanbaz that its all looking A1, but most of all it`s lovely to hear how you yourself are getting so much pleasure out of it all especially after all that angst earlier on with the pond. Here`s to many more days and evenings of pleasure.

Two tours in one day, cannot be bad, all hunky dory so glad you are enjoying your pretty garden it is good for the soul....

it sure is dotty,, as soon as i got home at 4 today i was out there painting the raised border, its got a bit scuffed with strimmer and also taken weeds out of path, just got weed killer to put down on block paving from back patio to driveway, think baz may do that for me after dinner,;o))

i know i'm repeating what everyone else has said - but - pure delight and thank you =)))

Been extra busy lately San, plus another visit to London so only just took my stroll around your garden, its a pleasure wandering around with you, it has come on in leaps and bounds, all credit to you and Baz, not forgetting the help from your boys, lets hope we get the weather for sitting and admiring our gardens whilst actually being outside more often...
.Mind you its been really cold here today so back to wearing my denims, (GRRRRRRR )

hi bertie its hydragea petiolaris a climbing one, i have one in my border and another in a pot , both doing well, lots of flowers in its second year ;o)

Just come across this one Sandra as I haven't been here for a while.
Your garden is looking a real picture and is a good reward for all the hard work that you and Baz have put into it ;-)
