I would like to know what this plant is so I can properly care for it. I also would like to know if it can be transplanted outdoors. Thanks!

This is a croton. These are easy to grow houseplants that are native to Malaysia. I am not sure exactly what species, but it is probably one of the many varieties of Codiaeum variegatum.

You asked if it could go out in the garden - no, it needs to stay warm!

How do I say thanks?
