It was a lovely sunny day on friday cold with it but i tidy my front garden up on friday and with it shining on the front in the morning and there was no wind so i quite enjoyed that day, still not long for our spring and clocks go forward in 35days so the light nights will be back and me living in the northwest of England it stays light till around 10 /10-30 at night before the nights start drawing in slow again.

Yes ... when I visited the UK, Carol, it took a little while to get used to it still being fairly light at 10.00 pm. But it was great being tourists having that much daylight ... meant we got to see lots more of the place.

Bernieh:

Great shot! Love Crotons! My Crotons are doing so well this year....this is after killing many. LOL! The secret to success here is to keep them in semi-shade...and during our dry, hot Santa Ana's wind conditions mist them with the hose, as much as possible.

So glad you've found a way to keep them going through the tough times ... they are such a great colourful addition to a garden.

Bernieh:

Yes, I am too. : > )

I've seen some nice shrubs in downtown San Diego and districts around downtown...where the temperatures in spring, summer and fall can be 15 - 20 degrees cooler.
