Rose bush

Northumberland, United Kingdom Gb

I was given a rose bush by some friends about 2 months ago. I still havent planted it yet, so with the UK weather getting colder can i still plant it or should i bring it indoors until the spring?

Yes Marguerite has got it right, don't take it indoors, leave it as it is, keep it in a frost free place to protect the roots, (can be submerged in the ground pot and all). plant it and prune it in March.
