I have inherited a very steep very overgrown rockery. It is south facing and has been neglected for years. The structure is there, but wild grasses have overtaken the plants. There are also a lot of hardy geraniums all over it. Is there anything I can do to bring it back?

Weedkiller is probably the only way to clean up that sort of territory. Hand removal of unwanted roots often means rock moving and major reconstruction.
