I turn myself upon my track.(Stroling through the Village)

I turn myself upon my track.(Stroling through the Village)

As I made my way home after my dawn walk I completed my poem.

The Milk and postmen all arrive,
Blemish the paths up every drive.
The dogs come out to romp and roll,
While bleary eyes come out to stroll.
Cars are cleared of their mid-night thatch,
Every door has a lifted latch.
The children snowball on the lawns,
This is the picture after dawn.
I turn myself upon my track,
And start my homeward journey back.
As my footsteps are retraced, I'm
Hailed and jeered by the snowman's face.
The children laugh and romp in fun
While birds they search for every crumb.
The paths are cleared with spade and brush,
My pathway to heaven has turned to slush.

No Arlene, we have no snow either, as you see these photos have no date on it so they were about 2/3 yrs ago the last time we saw snow!!!!, now that we are retired and have not got to work in it I feel quite left out that others have it and not us!!
